I know how stressful tests and exams can be, especially when a student has to juggle other responsibilities like school, homework, or club activities. I take a patient, warm, and personalized approach to tutoring, developing efficient sessions that are tailored to each person's individual understanding and needs. My goal is to help students understand challenging material in a manageable way, by breaking subjects down into core, intuitive concepts.

I have several years of experience teaching students across a wide range of levels, and have worked extensively with middle school, high school, and college students. I'm a proven expert in all aspects of standardized test prep, including all sections (math, reading, science) of the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and GRE; SAT Subject Tests in Math, Physics, and Literature; and many AP exams across multiple disciplines. I also provide personalized lessons for other school coursework in math, science, english, and beyond - I'm happy to work directly from specific textbooks, homework sets, or other exam materials.

Above and beyond! Excellent, experienced tutor

My son met with Ray to prepare for the Chemistry Regents exam and we wished he had started working with him earlier in the school year!
