Hi, I'm Eric! I'm a current high school math teacher with a passion for making math accessible, engaging, and genuinely understandable for every student I work with.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Double Bachelor's in Computer Engineering & Computer Science and a minor in French, and I hold a Master's in Computer Science with a 3.93/4.0 GPA. My strong academic foundation, combined with real classroom experience, gives me a well-rounded perspective on how students learn and what it takes to help them succeed.

During my undergraduate years, I worked as a Mentor for two and a half years, tutoring 15+ students per week on a 1-on-1 basis in math subjects ranging from College Algebra to Calculus 3, as well as introductory programming in Python, C, C++, and Java. I then went on to serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant throughout my Master's program for a year and a half. The students I worked with consistently improved their grades and ranked in the top 5% of their classes. Today, as a high school math teacher, I continue to work with students one-on-one and have deepened my ability to identify exactly where a student is struggling and how to address it effectively.

My tutoring approach is rooted in what I found worked best during my own education — using simpler, more relatable examples and reinforcing new concepts through targeted practice. This method proved effective even in subjects that students initially found difficult or intimidating. My goal is never just to help students answer questions correctly, but to ensure they genuinely understand the underlying concepts so they can apply them across all areas of math.

I welcome input from both students and parents, because I believe learning is a two-way street and the best results come from working together. I'm easy to reach and always respond promptly. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson — I'd love to help you reach your goals!
