When I work with students, I always strive to use students' interests in my lesson plans. For example, I once had a student who loved outer space, so guess what we practiced reading and writing about? We even practiced fractions and decimals by finding our weight on the moon! The sky is the limit when a student is engaged and enjoying their lessons. My favorite teacher of all time inspired me to become a teacher because he showed he cared about my interests, so I bring that same enthusiasm and attention to my lessons every time!
