I started my teaching career as a G.E.D. teacher for the NYC Board of Education where 90% of the students had trouble passing the math portion of the exam. Essentially, I taught five subjects as a G.E.D. teacher (math, science, reading, writing, and social studies). I have also had 3 years experience teaching a variety of subject in the Charter School System.
I am a unique tutor because I have a background in the arts as well as academics, which allows me a unique understanding of all types of learners and a wide range of student needs and areas of confusion.
