I am a dedicated and award-winning mathematics educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics, advanced training in mathematics pedagogy, and years of experience helping students become more confident and successful in math. I currently teach college-level Pre-Calculus and Calculus with Applications, and I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and all levels of Calculus. I work with middle school, high school, and college students, and I especially enjoy helping students who feel frustrated or discouraged realize that they are capable of making real progress.

My tutoring is highly personalized. I begin by understanding how each student thinks, identifying the specific gaps that are holding them back, and creating a clear plan that helps them improve step by step. Many of my students have moved from failing to passing, raised their grades by one to two letter levels in a semester, and improved SAT Math scores by 100+ points through focused preparation. I also specialize in SAT Math, AP Calculus, state exams, and course support, and several of my AP Calculus students have earned 4s and 5s after initially struggling with foundational concepts.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I use clear explanations, visual tools, real-world examples, targeted practice, and proven test-taking strategies to make math less intimidating and more manageable. My goal is not only to improve grades and test scores, but also to help students develop independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills that will serve them long after a single class or exam.
