I am an effective, patient, and flexible teacher with 15 years of experience. I am a certified special education teacher but work with both students with disabilities and general education students. I am a Peer Collaborative Teacher who works coaching other teachers on best practices help students achieve success. I have experience with students with ADHD, ASD, ID, LD, and speech and language impairments. I am Orton Gillingham/ Wilson certified in reading and use Fundations, Spire, Sound Sensible, Recipe for Reading, and Heggerty as well as Teachers College Reading and Writing Project in my classroom. I love teaching reading and phonics to young learners. In math, I specialize in Metamorphosis Math teaching number sense and fluency. I have worked with Go Math, Engage NY, and many other programs.
