He made the course relatable to today's politics and simplified ( World War I) in a way that I was able to comprehend. His priority is that the the student is successful in the the course. He is also a kind person, I highly recommend him to anyone who requires tutoring.
I had been a Librarian for forty years and have tutored English subjects in various library jobs in my career most notably at the Career Institute of Technology and informally at Briarcliff College as part of my Reference duties.
I am 65 years old, now retired, and would very much like to tutor adult students who have needs in my specialities and subjects. I am particularly interested in teaching English as a second language to new immigrants.

My incoming 9th-grade boy read a book together with John B. and my boy really liked his lesson. He explained the background in almost every sentence and showed the movie which is based on the book. He is a very well-prepared tutor.
