High school senior specializing in ELA skills and test prep

Hello! My name is Sabrina and currently I am a high school senior looking to help anyone struggling in certain subjects. I am going to college soon to become a middle or high school teacher for English Literature. I enjoy teaching because I love helping people, especially in areas that I am so passionate about. My favorite subjects include English and Math and I am always helping my fellow students to understand lessons and help to complete their homework. I am in all Advanced Placement courses this year and maintain averages of 90 and above. I am in multiple Honor Societies including a Math Honor Society which allows me opportunities to tutor my peers throughout the year.

I have experience helping younger students at the elementary level, such as 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, and providing them with one-on-one attention to help them understand their lessons. I currently teach faith formation classes at my church to 4th graders, so I have experience creating relationships with them and helping to explain things in ways that make sense to them.

I am very creative in my free time. I have many hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, sculpting, writing, and reading. I believe in cultivating these skills as they are helpful to develop planning and problem solving skills. I enjoy things that challenge me and encourage me to work harder for what I want and in the same way the end result is much more rewarding. I want to share this feeling with others as they experience the accomplishment that stems from hard work and effort.
