With nearly a decade of experience in the field of special education, I bring both expertise and heart to every learning opportunity. I am a proud graduate of The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. As an undergraduate, I completed a dual degree and certification in Childhood Education and Special Education. I later went on to earn my master’s degree in Professional Special Education (K–12) with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I currently hold a professional certification in Special Education (Grades 1–12) in the state of New York.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students across all grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school. My teaching approach is rooted in patience, understanding, and connection. I believe that meaningful learning begins with strong relationships built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect. Once that foundation is in place, real growth and confidence naturally follow.
Beyond the classroom, I am deeply committed to promoting inclusivity and opportunity for individuals with disabilities. I am an active coach with the Special Olympics Powerlifting Team and Unified Sports programs, where I take great pride in fostering community, confidence, and joy through athletics.
At the core of my work is a simple goal: to fully support my students in reaching their potential—academically, socially, and personally. I meet every learner where they are, celebrate every success, and make sure each individual feels capable, valued, and human. I will always go above and beyond to help my students and families feel supported and understood.
