My educational background makes me the ideal tutor for a diverse group of students. After that, I obtained a Masters degree in environmental engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

My educational background makes me the ideal tutor for a diverse group of students. I was homeschooled until 9th grade, when I began attending a charter school focused on sustainability and hands-on learning. I then attended Hartwick College, where I majored in math, economics, and environmental chemistry and minored in environmental science and policy. After that, I obtained a Masters degree in environmental engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Throughout my educational journey, I have had many opportunities to tutor. Starting informally in high-school, I soon began tutoring professionally in my second semester of college and continued into graduate school. I have mainly worked one on one with high-school and college students in the subjects of math, chemistry, physics, economics, and test preparation.
My approach to tutoring is to build the session around each students needs. To do this, I ask many questions of my students, which helps them review what they know while discovering exactly where their confusion stems from. If the student is struggling on a specific question, I will often put aside the question to teach a mini lesson on the material.
