Outside of the classroom, I have mentored 15+ undergraduate students on independent research projects at UC Davis and Virginia Tech, and been involved with a lot of public outreach events.
Beyond science, I'm also a writer passionate about helping students develop their English and creative writing skills, whether they're ESL learners or native speakers looking to strengthen their craft. While most of my teaching experience has been at the university level, I am also comfortable teaching elementary school and high school students.
