I'm Aleena! I am currently a Fourth-Year Medical School Student pursuing my MD degree at New York Medical College. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Biochemistry Honors and minoring in Economics. In high school and college, I realized that the courses that were the most enjoyable for me and those I scored the highest in were not necessarily about the subject but rather the teaching style and passion the professor displayed while teaching the course. As I tutor others, I try to make the material relatable and comprehensible in order to ensure that the session is as helpful and enjoyable as it can be.
Throughout high school and most of college, I tutored for 3 years in various subjects ranging from elementary- college level science and math subjects. At my university I was also a peer teacher assistant, which allowed me to assist my colleagues during exam review sessions to help them understand the material before exams. I have experience tutoring in a class room setting, full of a group ranging from 5- 20 students, as well as experience tutoring small groups and 1-on-1.
I love tutoring and helping others understand material in the teaching style that helps them the most. I am always willing to go the extra mile and provide extra support and resources to students to make an impact on their education. It is really easy to contact me and I respond very fast to make sure any additional questions/concerns are addressed.

I am an outstanding science tutor since I have tutored in various science subjects for over three years. I received an almost perfect score on my ACT Science, and I majored in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry in college. I have understood and excelled in medical school level Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Biology, and Chemistry courses.
