Amazing Tutor

Ms Gil has been my daughter's tutor since eighth grade. She is now entering her junior year in HS. Over the years I have found Ms Gil to be well versed on many subjects. This last school year she helped prepare my daughter for trigonometry English global history and earth science and my daughter successfully passed all of them. Ms Gil is an amazing tutor who combines firmness and fairness while developing the skills and confidence that my daughter needs to succeed. She is an integral part of my daughter's education and we both appreciate her care and concern. Thanks Ms Gil for another fantastic year.

Lifesaver

Ms. Gil was a lifesaver for my daughter. My daughter is in 9th grade and was really struggling with Algebra and Living Environment. I was not only afraid that my daughter would fail her core subjects, but also fail the upcoming regents. After about 2-3 sessions with Ms. Gil, I saw an improvement in my daughter’s test grades. On her first report card, her average was 65-70 in both classes. The following marking period, my daughter’s grades slowly increased. I will tell you this; Ms. Gil works the students very hard. She is very firm, which is fine because I didn’t need a tutor that would be laughing to much with my child, I needed someone that I knew my daughter would respect and know they are not playing with her lol. You have to be honest and know your child lol. Ms. G teaches the entire time, she assigns homework and will kindly let you know at the first session, what her expectations are. They are simple, she expects to students to work hard, complete her assignments and be ready to work when she arrives. I think that is fair, and had no issues with it. So fast forward, we are at the end of the school year. My daughter passed both regents! She also ended the school year with a 91 in Living Environment and an 80 in Math. I will definitely take that because my daughter came a very long way. Ms. Gil, you are a lifesaver, and I wish more of the educators within the schools were like you. Thank you for hard work and dedication to performance excellence!

I am so happy that I was able to connect with Gilant. She helped my son tremendously with preparation for his Living Environment and Algebra 1 Regents. He struggled with both subjects throughout the school year, but with her help he has passed both Regents and couldn't be happier. She is pleasant and knowledgeable in a variety of subjects and my son took to her immediately. We will definitely be continuing our relationship with her for the 2017-2018 school year. Amazing Tutor

This tutor is teaching my son Geometry a prep for his regents, as we all know it's a tough subject and with the change they made this year has made it much difficult so i am very pleased to say that this tutor not only knows exactly what she is talking about but is a huge help, her techniques have weight, i can see how much effort she has put into my son, she makes sure my son understands what he is learning and tests him to see if he is paying attention. I feel very comfortable having her in my home, she gives us a warm feeling and a positive vibe. I strongly recommend this tutor :)

Great Tutor--- VERY SATISFIED!

Ms. Gil tutored my little brother in Global History. I was very nervous when they first started as he had failed the examine several times before and had lost confidence in his abilities. But Ms. Gil was very patient with him and re-taught him global history from scratch. She met with him weekly and gave him lots of HW and test. She is very knowledgable of the material and a great tutor! I am so happy to say that my little brother passed the exam this past June!
