As a graduate of Queens College with a degree in Art History and a proud alumna of the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering (HSMSE), I bring a unique interdisciplinary perspective to tutoring. My academic journey has blended the humanities and STEM, allowing me to approach teaching with both analytical rigor and creative insight.

I have several years of informal and formal tutoring experience, working with middle school through college-aged students in subjects ranging from English and history to geometry, biology, and college prep. I’ve also supported peers and younger students in writing, research methods, and art analysis, often helping them draw connections across disciplines to deepen their understanding. Whether it’s explaining Renaissance art in the context of scientific discovery or making math feel less intimidating with real-world examples, I aim to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

My tutoring approach is highly adaptive—I prioritize building trust with students and tailoring my teaching style to suit their needs and learning preferences. I value patience, active listening, and a sense of humor, and I strive to create a welcoming space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

Beyond academics, I currently work at the Queens Museum, where I continue to grow as a museum professional and educator. I’m deeply passionate about inclusivity in education and love helping students see the bigger picture, whether we’re working through an essay, preparing for exams, or exploring the intersections of art, history, and culture.
