I am currently pursuing my PhD in Physics at Columbia University, building on a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University. My academic background gives me deep expertise across mathematics and physics, from foundational algebra through advanced calculus, statistics, and university-level physics. I have been tutoring since 2018, working with students from high school through college level. I provided one-on-one tutoring in Calculus, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Probability, SAT Math, and General Physics. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into understandable pieces while building genuine problem-solving confidence. I served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University, supporting over fifty students each semester through weekly office hours and detailed feedback. I continue this work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, where I help students navigate advanced physics concepts. My commitment to accessible education extends to volunteer work with underserved communities. As a College Assistant with CUNY Tutor Corps, I developed individualized learning plans for diverse learners. Since 2021, I have volunteered with City Tutor, helping community college and university students with physics and mathematics. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, adaptability, and meeting each student where they are to help them achieve their goals.
