I’m currently a junior at Cornell University, double majoring in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Data Science. Over the past few years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning, analytical modeling, and data interpretation, which allows me to explain complex ideas clearly and intuitively. I have experience tutoring students in subjects such as calculus, probability, econometrics, and statistics, both in one-on-one and small-group settings. My approach is highly interactive: I focus on identifying a student’s unique thought process, addressing gaps in understanding, and building confidence step by step. I especially enjoy helping students see how abstract concepts connect to real-world applications—whether that’s understanding how derivatives appear in trading strategies or how regression models capture relationships in data. I’m patient, encouraging, and passionate about making math and economics feel approachable rather than intimidating. Having served as a course assistant at Cornell, I’ve learned how to guide students toward independent problem-solving while still providing the structure they need to succeed. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students improve their grades, but to cultivate curiosity and long-term confidence in analytical thinking.
