Hi! My name is Sean and I'm an undergraduate senior at Cornell University pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a 3.95 GPA. I began tutoring as a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where I was inspired by several teachers that provided personalized instruction to help students succeed in advanced courses. As a tutor, I follow a similar personalized teaching style that is unique to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. I specialize in a "practice makes perfect" method where I expose students to a variety of practice questions from the beginning a new topic, allowing them to develop thorough confidence for exams. I aim to make learning enjoyable and engaging, and I am always receptive to any suggestions and feedback!

As a Chemical Engineering major at Cornell University, I specialize in tutoring advanced math and chemistry courses, helping students achieve A's in AP Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, AP Physics C, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. I also assist with standardized test preparation, especially SAT Math, ACT Math, and ACT Science. In these lessons, I teach important content for these exams and crucial test-taking/time-management strategies that helped me achieve a 1580 on the SAT. I also speak proficient French and provide tutoring for French courses.

I have 4 years of online, one-on-one tutoring experience and am proficient in using online platforms to provide thorough instruction. I also have experience as a Teaching Assistant for Cornell's Chemical Process Design course, where provide 10 hours of weekly instruction by leading lectures and providing personalized office hours.
