Hi! I'm an editor at an Ivy League university press, where I've published multiple award-winning books. I hold a Ph.D. in English and bring over eight years of university-level teaching and Writing Center experience. I work with writing and concepts at the highest level everyday as part of my job my profession, and I bring that expertise directly to you.

I specialize in the writing that helps set you up for the future: college application essays, graduate and professional school personal statements (med, dental, vet, law), academic papers, theses and dissertations, and career documents like cover letters and statements of purpose. My students have gone on to gain admission to selective programs across the US and abroad, or earned the grade they were aiming for. I'm especially experienced working with international and ESL students — I have training in French, Malay, and Mandarin, and I understand what it takes to write with precision and confidence in a second language.
