I have prior experience in tutoring AP subjects such as AP Government and Politics, AP European History, AP World History, and AP U.S. History. In addition, I have ample experience with the LSAT and would be willing to cooperate with every aspiring future lawyer to-be. In college, I tutored AP Comparative Government and Politics as well as AP European History for student from my high school who, due to limited course offerings, did not have access to formal preparation in these two subjects. In addition, I was also a Chinese tutor at the University of Notre Dame, where I taught second-year Chinese for approximately 5 hours per week.
My teaching style features a combination of lecturing and Socratic method, something which I have picked up both from my time in the philosophy department as well as from law school. Since I am mainly focusing on tutoring humanities, social sciences, and law related subjects, being able to survive and eventually strive under the Socratic method is crucial for anyone who's thinking about pursuing advanced study in these areas. Hence, I believe an early exposure would only be more helpful.
