Hi, my name is Anousha! I am a current freshman at Cornell University in the College of Engineering! I am passionate about math, have been in my high school's math team for three years, and have taken honors math throughout high school. I want help other students become comfortable with the subject, as it is one that has fascinated me endlessly.

I started tutoring in 9th grade as a peer tutor, and have since volunteered at a math center and worked for a STEM education nonprofit. I've tutored students ages 6 years old to juniors in high school. I've worked with people who are struggling to keep up with class material, and those who are looking for more challenging subject matter. My lessons typically consist of checking homework, introduction of a topic, doing examples and practice problems with the student, letting the student practice on their own, and then assigning homework. I often use IXL or my past classes' notes to source HW and problems. Additionally, I like to explain new concepts in multiple ways and adjust my lessons to the student's learning style. I also adjust the pace of my lessons accordingly, and give more or less HW and in class problems based on the student's performance.

I really enjoy working with all different kinds of people, and I always try to create a friendly and low-stress environment for my students. Additionally, I always welcome advice and resources that a student or parent may have. Please out with any questions or inquiries!
