I love teaching and tutoring. Tutoring is a way to teach students more about themselves and how they personally learn and the methods which they need to take in order to fully comprehend the administered information. Re-framing and organizing subjects for people in a way that they may be more receptive and understand the information clearer gives me a great sense of satisfaction and is a good indicator to whether I am successful.
Besides taking many rigorous collegiate physics courses such as Modern Physics and Analytical Mechanics, I also have had specific tutoring experience on this subject. For example, this is my second semester being a Lead Lab Instructor for a Physics-II Calculus Based Class at Binghamton University. What this position includes is demonstrating and explaining experiments on a weekly basis to a class comprised of approximately 20 students for a one-and-a-half hour duration. Within this class, I also provided guidance in the calculus behind the physics, procedures, and equipment functions in group experiments based on the topics that I had covered in the previously mentioned experiments. I truly enjoy teaching this class and providing one-on-one assistance on topics when needed.
