I earned my bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware and I completed my dietetic internship and Master's degree in medical biology nutrition from Long Island University. I earned the Outstanding Graduate Student in Nutrition Award in 1998. I often tutored fellow classmates on master's subjects. I earned my Certified Diabetes Educator credentials from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. I am very comfortable with my knowledge of nutrition and dietetics and diabetes.
