Hi! I’m a sophomore neuroscience major on the pre-medical track at the University of Maryland, College Park. As a current student, I understand how overwhelming rigorous coursework and high academic expectations can be. I work with middle school, high school, and introductory college-level students, particularly in science-related subjects, and support them with exam preparation, managing heavy course loads, and improving academic performance.
My background includes undergraduate laboratory research, clinical experience as a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), childcare experience with children ages 2–13, and leadership roles focused on health, wellness, and accountability. With a strong foundation in neuroscience and psychology, I bring a unique perspective to learning and believe that understanding how each student learns and retains information is essential for academic success.
I take a personalized, student-centered approach in every session, tailoring explanations and strategies to each student’s unique learning style and goals; whether they need help clarifying difficult concepts, preparing for exams, or developing organization and study skills. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students feel confident, motivated, and capable of succeeding independently.
