I'm a retired IT analyst and tester who worked at several corporations over the past 30 years. A large part of my work has been writing documentation on the websites and applications we built so the user and internal support person can easily understand. I also did in person 1-1 and team training with the documentation. Being one of the testers on the agile team, it's important that people understand what we built for them and are able to use it right away!

I have built and documented several WordPress websites since 2009 and Access databases since 1997. I've also worked extensively in Adobe Photoshop since 2000 editing photos and creating graphic design work in my side business.
I've worked mostly with adults. My daughter is autistic, so there's been years of teaching her. Now that she's an adult we still are in that mode. I just naturally and quietly explain to anyone whether a special needs or not.
While I haven't done formal tutoring, over the years I've documented 100's of procedures, rules, checklists, requirements, and anything the employees we supported needed information on. We were also available via IM for employees who were on the phone with a client and needed immediate help in an application that wasn't working as expected. This is along with the regular training I mentioned above.
Again, it's necessary to teach those who are receiving websites or other products about what was built for them so they can use it easily.
I love teaching. It's a joy to explain something to an student who has questions, and see the face of that student sudden light up as they finally understand what they struggled with before 1-1 training. It doesn't matter whether you're a manager or a student. I feel everyone needs a good instructor.
