I feel that two of my strengths are making Math less scary for my students, and knowing how to break down the information in a way that is understandable. I often have college students who tell me at the end of the semester that they never thought they could be successful in Math until they took my class. I love helping students gain confidence in their Math skills.
Although I have not taught Math at the elementary level, I teach a two-semester sequence of Math classes for future elementary teachers, so I have become familiar with the elementary curriculum in that way.
