I am the author of a recently released non-fiction book, and I understand the demands of effective English communication, the editorial process, the creative process, and citation and referencing. I am also well experienced in online teaching, where I have achieved high student ratings. In addition, I have six years of experience teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to bilingual students on university pathway programs. My students met the challenges of English language learning and, in one year, progressed onto programs in universities in the United Kingdom and the United States.
I understand the challenges of English language learning and have been successful adapting my teaching and tutoring styles to these needs. I am a CELTA certified teacher with extensive experience teaching writing and speaking.
I have taught, and examined, speaking to all levels of English learners, from middle school grades to pre-college. I can identify problems in stress, intonation, fluency and coherence, as well as the full range of grammatical errors.
