I am a Yale graduate who has a deep commitment and passion for teaching. For over 20 years, I have successfully prepared students for the SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT, as well as SAT Math Subject Tests. Many of my students have gone on to achieve perfect scores and admission to top universities.
My teaching style emphasizes clarity of concepts, structured practice, and rigorous exercises to build both confidence and mastery. I focus on tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style, ensuring they improve test performance and develop strong problem-solving skills.
I personally scored a 740 on the GMAT (top 1%), giving me both firsthand test experience and proven strategies to share with my students.
Professional Background
Beyond tutoring, I bring a unique perspective from a 30-year career in investment banking on Wall Street, where I held senior executive positions at leading institutions, including J.P. Morgan, ABN Amro, HypoVereinsbank, IBJ Schroder, Millennium Capital, PPL, the Reserve Bank of India, and SmithKline Beecham. This professional experience has further sharpened my analytical and mentoring skills, which I now apply to coaching students toward their academic and career goals.
