I’m currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan and I plan to major in Biology with a minor in Spanish. Throughout high school, I took many practice ACT Exams, experimenting with multiple strategies, and learning little tips/tricks along the way. On my first attempt, I scored a composite 35 (E 34, M 35, R 36, S 36). Since receiving the score, I have written practice problems for the ACT at a local cram school specializing in Test Prep, tutored some of my underclassmen peers, and given practice exams to students before their testing. When I first began practicing for the ACT, I struggled with pacing and the test format, however, I was able to learn how to tackle these challenges, and hopefully, I can help students who struggle with similar problems. As a member of multiple honor societies in High School, tutoring was a major part of my high school academic career.
My best subjects are the ACT Math, Reading section, and Science sections. When teaching these subjects, I like to give questions, review, and then assess and provide multiple strategies and tips that I believe fit the individual student. I am quick with responding and easy to reach. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to potentially schedule lessons.
