I am an NYU student in good academic standing with a ~4.0 GPA, and my coursework has built a strong foundation in quantitative and writing based subjects that translate directly into tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring core academic areas such as math and problem solving as well as reading, writing, and general study skills, and I can adjust the level from fundamentals to more advanced material depending on the student’s needs. I focus on making concepts clear and repeatable so students can succeed independently, not just on one assignment.
My tutoring experience includes working with students across a range of ages in one on one settings, both in person and online, depending on what is easiest for the family. I have supported younger students with homework completion, organization, and building confidence in foundational skills, and I have also helped older students with test preparation and strengthening writing and analytical skills. When tutoring, I start by identifying the exact gaps, then I teach the concept in simple steps, practice together, and finish with a short plan the student can follow between sessions.
My approach is structured and patient, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I use explanations that match the student’s learning style, I check understanding frequently, and I provide targeted practice so progress is measurable. My goal is consistent improvement over time through clear instruction, good habits, and steady accountability.
