Hi everyone! I'm Lisa, a 2024 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (a top-20 university), where I earned degrees in Biology and Anthropology. I now work full-time as a biomedical researcher and am also a soon-to-be medical student.
I'm deeply passionate about helping students excel on standardized tests, whether it's the NYS Regents, AP exams, or college entrance exams like the SAT and ACT.
Currently, I tutor part-time at an ACT/SAT/AP test prep center, covering SAT Math, ACT Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics. I've helped many students achieve significant score gains, including 400+ point improvements on the SAT and 7+ point jumps on the ACT. I also have two years of experience as a private SAT Math tutor, working with students ages 10 to 18 in both one-on-one and small-group (1 to 3 students) settings.
During my time at WashU, I served as a TA for Calculus II and Biology for two years, where I mentored students in the classroom, wrote exams, and led review sessions.
With a strong foundation in both STEM and test-taking strategy, I am committed to guiding students toward measurable, meaningful results.
