As someone who's fond of puzzles, I treat course material the same way. My goal with all my students is to help them redefine the course material into a pattern that seems to suit their style of thinking. My tutoring style starts with figuring out what students understand and what they need help with, then working with them to find the common pattern amidst the material, so they can better understand the information conceptually, rather than just memorizing it. I am happy to provide my own notes (if needed and specified ahead of time) and work through problems with students in real time.
Any feedback from students and/or parents is welcome and appreciated. I'm generally flexible with timing and respond as soon as I can. Feel free to contact me with any questions if you are interested!
