I am a college premed student in a Life Sciences B.S./D.O. program with extensive coursework in biology, general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and physiology. My academic background has required me to master complex scientific concepts under heavy course loads, which has given me a strong foundation to tutor students in science subjects and study skills. Through my own experience preparing for upper-level exams and standardized testing, I have developed effective strategies for breaking down difficult material, reinforcing core concepts, and helping students apply what they learn with confidence.

I have experience tutoring and teaching students in both one-on-one and small group settings, primarily at the middle school and high school levels, as well as supporting peers in college-level science courses. My approach emphasizes clarity, structure, and adaptability. I focus on identifying where students feel stuck, adjusting explanations to match their learning style, and encouraging active participation rather than passive memorization. I also help students build organization and time management skills, which are especially important for long-term academic success.

Overall, my tutoring experience is grounded in patience, consistency, and an understanding of the challenges students face when balancing rigorous coursework. Having progressed through demanding science classes myself, I am able to relate to students’ concerns while guiding them toward effective problem-solving and independent learning.
