Hi, my name is Destiny! A current computer science student in pursuit of my bachelors degree while working in the field. It’s been a little bit over two years since I began tutoring/teaching computer science, which has been a great experience. I learned a lot about various teaching methods, depending on my students and their skill level during these past couple of years.
In community college, I decided to become a tutor for a vocational coding school in my area. While working in that position, I have taught solo lessons as well as group lessons on various computer science topics from ages 6-18. This included teaching various languages, such as Java, python, HTML, CSS and more! Which eventually transitioned to entry-level robotics as I advanced in my tutoring career. Soon after I became a computer science instructor at a private schools and continue to do work there with them on occasion.
