Health and psych science focused, diverse experience

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, but took a wide variety of courses throughout my college experience. I am now in a healthcare-related graduate program. I have a great deal of experience being successful, and learning from my mistakes in everything from "soft sciences" to more advanced biology and chemistry courses. There are many classes that people have to take to get their degree, and everyone struggles with some courses. My hope is that everyone finds a way to get through them, without being afraid to ask for help. Quite often, it's how the information is taught, rather than how difficult the information is, that determines whether or not you are successful.

I have used a lot of techniques to learn myself, as well as help others learn. For more visual people, I am good at finding references and drawing out concepts. For more practical learning subjects, I am good at making concept charts and maps, as well as making practice questions. Although more fictional/poetry based writing is not my strongest skillset, I found a great deal of success in research based writing, as well as more Op-Ed style pieces.

I have experience in courses from music history, anthropology, psychological statistics, biology, anatomy & physiology, microbiology, and more. I have a lot of experience gearing these courses in particular towards the health sciences, and social sciences. I am very flexible and willing to learn how best to help people as an individual, as I know that can make the difference between understanding a concept, and struggling.
