Amazing tutor!!

I cannot express enough how amazing Lily is. She is truly exceptional! She has an ability to explain difficult concepts in a manner that her student will understand. She has been working with my niece since last summer. Originally we came to Lily with help in math. My niece did not do as well as she wanted to in math and was struggling so we started looking for a tutor and found Lily . This school year, with Lily’s help, she’s an A student in math and math feels easy for her. The last couple months she has only received perfect scores on her math tests. I haven’t seen her so confident in her math abilities in a very long time and it’s all thanks to Lily! Everything that Lily explained to her was able to be retained. I am truly impressed. Now, Lily is helping her in English. Lily has been able to help her through her English assignments in a way that makes it easier for my niece to understand. My niece’s most recent assessment has been her highest grade in English so far which was right after they started working together on this subject. She had also helped my niece in Chinese in which she has received an A in overall. My niece has ADHD and Lily has been able to grab her attention easily. My niece is also genuinely happy to see Lily which is a lot coming from a teenager who tends to be picky. I am happy with the way Lily is able to connect with her. Lily truly cares about her students and their education. If you’re looking for a tutor I would 100% recommend Lily!

Lily has been instrumental in helping my son ace the College Calculus class in his junior year in high school. She’s patiently worked through problems with him, sharp and quick at correcting his misconceptions in the course and recommended strategies to help him overcome his shortcomings. Although it’s late in the school year, when we were able to get a hold of her, she helped him make tremendous progress towards the end-of-year final and a couple of tests that pulled his grade up. Lily is a dream come true for any ambitious Mathematics student. She will get you to where you want to be academically.

(detailed review) Lily does an excellent job providing me with a rich amount of academic knowledge, followed by her incredible ability to make her lessons go into my long-term memory. Her teaching allows my brain to process the information she shares into my short-term memory and then provides assignments for long-lasting memories. I can FULLY recall each lesson I had with Lily and share specific details about each session. It is important to NOTE that I've had no formal education my whole life, and I don't even know what a classroom looks like. I could vaguely imagine what the inside of a school seems like. I started working with Lily at a 3rd/4th-grade education level; since working with Lily, I'm now flying through the GED practice test. Lily had successfully made what I thought was impossible possible for me with great ease. Lilly's dedication is profound and rare, as she actively assists me in accomplishing my goal of attending a specific Ivy League university by researching the requirements, road-mapping my educational needs, and putting extra effort into the areas I need to focus more on. With Lily's assistance and proven results in my educational progress, the odds seem to be in my favor to achieve my goal successfully. I want to start by saying Lily is a genius; if you are hesitant to hire her or worried about the risk of the hourly rate, read the rest of my review. My circumstance is interesting. I’m 23 years old with no prior formal education in my whole life. I have been medically diagnosed with ADHD. I started working with Lily because I plan to pass the GED exam and attend university. Before working with Lily, I had a 3rd-grade education. In just three lessons, she was able to advance my brain into pre-algebra. She broke things down, simplified them for me, and taught me how to use specific math methods to my advantage without complicating anything. THE Fascinating part of Lily's teaching is that she doesn’t just teach you the technique; she makes sure you understand the learning. By tailoring and observing your learning style, the examples she gives make me have the “aha moments. “I have sudden insight and understanding of any math problem; she provides me with the samples and methods she taught me, and I would be able to solve the math problems. Not only is she good at teaching. Her personality, beliefs, and motivation make me look forward to each lesson with her. If you're serious about your or your Child's education, look no further. If every teacher had Lily's teaching style and compassion, there wouldn't be an education problem in America. I'm going to work with Lily throughout my educational process because she is capable of doing the supernatural.

Lily worked closely with my niece throughout the summer, providing assistance with Algebra 2. Her teaching abilities come naturally to her; she possesses a keen sense of when to delve into details and when to transition to the next question or topic.
