Hi! My name is Brian. I am a full-time, tenured accounting professor at a Long Island university, where I have been teaching since 2009. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), hold an MBA, and have more than 25 years of professional experience in accounting and finance, including prior roles as Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In addition to teaching, I currently practice public accounting at a CPA firm, performing accounting, auditing, and tax-related services. My teaching experience includes a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, including Principles of Accounting, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Auditing, and Advanced Accounting.
My combination of university-level teaching, executive financial leadership, and current public accounting experience allows me to bring both academic expertise and real-world perspective to tutoring. I work with students at all levels, from high school and undergraduate coursework to graduate-level accounting and CPA exam preparation.
