As a mother of five and life-long learner, I truly value the benefit of education.

I am NYS certified teacher licensed in English (7-12), Middle School Education (5-9), Childhood Education (1-6) and Special Education, For over 20 years I have worked with students of all ages and in all learning environments, from infants to adults -- from child care to college.

My goal is simple -- to help students reach their educational goals.

I conducted DRA Assessments to target student ability and need, and worked with a variety of reading programs and self-created strategies to help Dyslexic students.

Excellent Tutor!!!!!!

Mary is an excellent tutor and a very warmhearted person. She is an intelligent woman with a right plan to guide anyone in a right direction. She has been very patient and accommodating to my needs. She went out of her way to prepare review sheets for the test. She has a lot of experience in teaching. I feel very comfortable and confident after having six sessions with Mary. I highly recommend her because I believe that she has amazing skills to help anyone who is struggling in any subject area. I must say that Mary is very caring and professional person. She knows her content well!!!!
