Hello and thank you for taking time to visit my page and hopefully together we can jump into the world of CNC Programming and explore everything from just the fundamentals or even into advance areas as well.
My Background:
As an professional and experienced programmer in the field of CNC Manufacturing, I first began with my studies in Brooklyn, New York City at the New York City College of Technology, where I would eventually receive my Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Upon graduating I began my career working in a nationally certified/accredited aerospace manufacturing company in Queens, New York City. Here is I worked full time for multiple years in the engineering department as a CNC Programmer where I was fully responsible for programming horizontal lathes as well as vertical and horizontal milling machines using CATIA CAD/CAM software (currently used by companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, BMW, Porsche, and many others).
Afterwards I continued to build/develop my skills and advance my career by working in multiple machine shops in Long Island, New York including in Brooklyn, New York City as well. In these shops I not only continued to program, but also took on an additional role as CNC Machinist, where I would setup and operate the CNC machines as well (while also continuing to program).
During my career I have excelled and become proficient in programming softwares such as Mastercam and Catia but also, and just as important, have developed a comprehensive understanding of G and M codes (the language of CNC Programming) in order to transform stock material into accurate and precision machined parts.
As a tutor I am excited to spread and pass on my knowledge to further develop ones own skill in order to have a successful future in the exciting world of CNC!!! So schedule a lesson today to satisfy your curiosity or build/further your skills :)
