Hi! I’m Rianna, a psychology graduate with minors in neuroscience and philosophy from Hofstra University. I’ve been on the Dean’s List throughout my academic career and have a strong foundation in psychology, with top grades in Cognitive Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Sensation & Perception, Social Psychology, and Research Methods.
I currently intern at a BPD research institute, where I conduct statistical analyses, design surveys, and review clinical literature. I’ve also written and presented independent research, including a manuscript on implicit associations and a theoretical proposal on hormonal influences in behavior. My experience combines academic knowledge with real-world application, which I bring into every tutoring session.
I aim to make psychology clear, approachable, and engaging. Whether you need help preparing for exams, reviewing class material, improving essays, or working with statistics (I’m proficient in SPSS), I’ll tailor sessions to your goals and learning style. I also support students with research projects, literature reviews, and theory-heavy coursework.
I don’t require any cancellation notice; I understand life happens, and flexibility is important. If you're looking for a patient, knowledgeable tutor who can break down complex topics and build your confidence, I’d love to work with you. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions; I look forward to working with you!
