Hello there! I'm Bing B, an Artist & educator, and I'm truly passionate about both art and education. My educational journey has been quite a ride! It all started with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Design from Tsinghua University, where I really honed my artistic skills and learned the language of visual expression. From there, I decided to take it up a notch and pursued a Master of Fine Arts from Chongqing University, where I dived deeper into the world of art and polished my creative abilities.
Teaching has been my calling for over ten years now, and I absolutely love it! As an Art teacher, I get to work with students of all ages and levels, and it's been a truly rewarding experience. My teaching style is all about being creative, having fun, and taking on challenges with enthusiasm. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable journey, and I take great pride in adapting my teaching methods to suit each student's individual needs and interests. Being both an Artist and an Art Educator, I find immense joy in guiding students on their creative path and empowering them to discover their own artistic voice and develop a lifelong love for the arts.
Right now, I'm pursuing my Ed.D. in Art & Art Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. I can't wait to explore new and innovative teaching strategies that will nurture artistic growth and ignite a true passion for learning in my students. On top of that, I've also got essential certifications in DASA (Dignity for All Students Act), child abuse awareness, and school violation prevention, because creating a safe and supportive environment for my students to thrive is super important to me.
