I have an extensive tooling and product design background. Solidworks modeling is the core of my experience however I started on Autocad 2D package. I have my owned Solidworks since 1998 up to Solidworks 2017. I am semi-retired and able to work in my home office. I have self-employed consulting design for 25 years and worked for manufacturing companies as in Kodak, Bausch and Lomb. In addition worked with with at least two startup companies, one was electronic gas metering and the other was wind-solar. As a Solidworks user group leader I have hands on use in explaining the ins and out of Solidworks for the beginning level to advanced. Machining, molding, stamping knowledge becomes instrumental in the design of any products. I’m familiar with Webex and other conferencing tools I would have no problem using on a daily basis if required.
I began my career in the small mold shops, custom molders and then larger companies like Kodak. I have been a Solidworks 3D Modeler since 1998 . I would sum up my skills as a classic Design Engineer with "major" in design and a "minor" in processing. In recent years I have worked "on site" and also as a separate entity. My recent projects have been starting from scratch and being handed a partially done project with aggressive deadlines. I have the expert experience to manage both.
