I have been teaching Earth Science for seven years. My first year teaching was in a private school for students on the Autism Spectrum, and the remaining six years have been in the New York City Department of Education.

I am extremely passionate about all things Earth Science. I have travelled the world to explore our planet's geology, climate zones, and atmospheric conditions. I do my best to bring my excitement and passion for the material into my lessons. My goal for each student is not just curricular success, but it is also to help them to gain an appreciation for our natural surroundings. Earth Science ROCKS, and I'd love to teach you why!

I am able to relate sometimes complex material to students' everyday lives. I make the material come to life for them.

I have experience teaching many different types of students. I realize that there is not one standard type of teaching that works for all students, so I approach teaching and tutoring with an open mind and a desire for student input.
