Laurie is an incredibly great teacher in Earth Science. I am very grateful to have found her. She is a kind, patient, responsive and highly knowledgeable. She knows clearly the school curriculum in Earth Science. She always prepares all the materials and practice questions before the class. She helps my son to understand the key concepts and makes the materials much easier to understand. She welcomes questions and explains everything thoroughly. My son enjoys to have the classes with her and he said he is going to miss her after the school year ends. Laurie, I cannot thank you enough for all of your help and support! Very Knowledgeable, able to simplify difficult topics

My daughter lost all confidence in Earth science and it got worse when took the earth science regents. Laurie helps so much with simplifying lessons for her. She has a lot more confidence and is ready to take the regents again. I truly thank Laurie for her patience and guidance through this struggle.

Amazing Tutor!
Laurie has been a remarkable tutor for the new NYS Earth and Space Science Regents Exam. I had low hopes about this regents exam, mainly because I am not the best at Earth Science. Laurie's attention to detail, the abundance of materials she provides to her students, and thorough explanations of the new Reference Table made me feel much more confident for this test. Now, I have zero doubt that I will do well on this upcoming exam. I wish I had started with Laurie sooner, and I highly recommend for others to work with her!

Outstanding!
Laurie worked with my son for a few hours in person to prep for the Lab Pratice Regents Test. Unfortunately, he had little preparation from his teacher this year. If it wasn't for Laurie's dedicated work ethic, wealth of knowledge and making learning interesting for students, he wouldn't have scored a 15/16! We're hoping he's as successful on his Earth Science Regents test with the help of Laurie, of course! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super helpful tutor
Working with Laurie was great! I had a total of 2 sessions with her and she really helped me understand earth science, I was preparing for the regents and she did a wonderful job explaining concepts to me in a way that I understood, definitely worth checking her out! We went through old tests and she sent me some of her resources as well to help me out.

True Educator
Laurie knows how to teach a topic thoroughly and make the student feel as though they are a large part of their education. She creates an inclusive learning environment where my son is taking ownership of the topic and has fun. That’s an educator!
