My daughter lost all confidence in Earth science and it got worse when took the earth science regents. Laurie helps so much with simplifying lessons for her. She has a lot more confidence and is ready to take the regents again. I truly thank Laurie for her patience and guidance through this struggle.

Amazing Tutor!
Laurie has been a remarkable tutor for the new NYS Earth and Space Science Regents Exam. I had low hopes about this regents exam, mainly because I am not the best at Earth Science. Laurie's attention to detail, the abundance of materials she provides to her students, and thorough explanations of the new Reference Table made me feel much more confident for this test. Now, I have zero doubt that I will do well on this upcoming exam. I wish I had started with Laurie sooner, and I highly recommend for others to work with her!

Outstanding!
Laurie worked with my son for a few hours in person to prep for the Lab Pratice Regents Test. Unfortunately, he had little preparation from his teacher this year. If it wasn't for Laurie's dedicated work ethic, wealth of knowledge and making learning interesting for students, he wouldn't have scored a 15/16! We're hoping he's as successful on his Earth Science Regents test with the help of Laurie, of course! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super helpful tutor
Working with Laurie was great! I had a total of 2 sessions with her and she really helped me understand earth science, I was preparing for the regents and she did a wonderful job explaining concepts to me in a way that I understood, definitely worth checking her out! We went through old tests and she sent me some of her resources as well to help me out.

True Educator
Laurie knows how to teach a topic thoroughly and make the student feel as though they are a large part of their education. She creates an inclusive learning environment where my son is taking ownership of the topic and has fun. That’s an educator!

Laurie has been teaching my high school daughter Earth Sciences in preparation for USESO exam. She has been amazing and is highly prepared for every lesson. She prepares quizzes and worksheets, provide summaries of the chapters and even maintain a shared google drive with all the materials. She has been able to instill love for the subject in my daughter who looks forward to her weekly classes with Laurie and always come out of these session excited to tell what she has learned that day. I would highly recommend Laurie as a tutor for Earth Sciences.
