Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I have a strong background in psychology, social work, and student support, with experience teaching both high school and college-level students. I hold advanced graduate training in psychology, including doctoral-level study, and I currently teach AP Psychology as well as design and teach college-level psychology courses. I have worked with students from high school through adulthood in both classroom and one-on-one learning environments, and I bring a calm, structured, and supportive approach to every session.
In my tutoring, I focus on helping you to truly understand material rather than simply memorize it. I work with you to connect concepts to real-world examples so the content feels meaningful and easier to retain. For AP and college students, I provide support with content review, exam preparation, writing and critical thinking, and developing effective study strategies for complex material. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD, learning differences, and special needs, and I adapt lessons to match each student’s individual learning style and pace.
My tutoring style is patient, organized, and encouraging. I believe students learn best when they feel understood and not judged, so I aim to create a learning environment where questions are welcomed and progress feels manageable. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, improving study habits, or building confidence in challenging material, my goal is always the same: to help you feel capable, supported, and successful in your learning.
