I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Economics and Arabic from Connecticut College, where I graduated magna cum laude and was recognized for academic excellence in both my major and language studies. I later earned my Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics, where my research focused on economic relations in the Middle East. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in writing, critical analysis, and cross-cultural communication, all of which inform my tutoring approach.

Over the past several years, I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through university level in a variety of settings. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring in essay writing, research methods, study skills, and Arabic language, as well as leading small-group workshops to help students build confidence in their academic work. I am passionate about meeting learners where they are, and I use a collaborative, supportive style to help each student discover strategies that work best for them. Whether I am helping a student break down complex readings, organize their ideas into clear arguments, or improve their time management, I focus on fostering a sense of ownership and accomplishment.

My tutoring philosophy is grounded in patience, empathy, and the belief that learning should feel both challenging and rewarding. By creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, I help them develop the skills and mindset that will serve them well beyond our sessions together. I look forward to supporting students in achieving their academic goals and gaining confidence in their abilities.
