Hi, I’m Kris. I tutor math, statistics, and economics, with a focus on helping students truly understand the material and build confidence over time.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University (cum laude) and my master’s degree in economics from Columbia University, where I focused on econometrics and advanced statistics. I spent 10 years working in finance and 5 years in corporate consulting, applying quantitative analysis to real business and policy problems.
That professional background shapes how I teach. I help students see how concepts fit together, how to approach problems methodically, and how to think clearly under pressure. This is especially helpful for students who are capable but feel stuck, rushed, or anxious in math-heavy classes.
