I have a strong academic background in computer science, holding both a B.S. (GPA 3.9) and M.S. (GPA 4.0) in the field. My work focuses on programming, data analysis, and problem-solving using tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization techniques. I am particularly passionate about helping students not just complete assignments, but truly understand the logic behind what they are learning so they can apply it independently.

I have three years of formal tutoring experience as a computer science tutor, where I worked with both undergraduate and graduate students. I also worked for one year as a graduate assistant, providing lab support and one-on-one coding help in a classroom setting. Many of my students came from diverse backgrounds and age groups, including adult learners, and I supported them in topics such as Python, Java, HTML/CSS, data structures, and core programming principles. In addition, I bring four years of teaching experience as a teaching assistant in a daycare setting, where I worked with children ages 18 months to 5 years old. This range of experience has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching style to learners of all ages, from young beginners to advanced students.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and personalized. I work closely with each student to break down problems step by step, whether they are learning from scratch, working through assignments, or debugging code. I focus on helping students think through problems on their own so they can build confidence and become independent over time. My main focus is Python, SQL, and data analysis, but I also support other computer science topics. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where students feel supported and able to make real progress.
