I'm an interdisciplinary tutor and mentor for all ages 7th grade and above, and have the experience and ability to tailor programs to many fabulously unique students! I have been a Professor and Teacher in a wide range of courses that span the Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and the Humanities; as well as being an Academic Advisor and Student Success Coach for over 20 years. I have taught at Harvard University, the University at Buffalo, Arizona State University, Salem State University, Toko University, Ming De Girls High School and Hess K-8 English immersion programs in Taiwan. I can help you get great grades and get into the prep school or university of your choice!

My 30-years of experience in the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, as well as 20-years teaching interdisciplinary students from a wide range of backgrounds, makes me ideal in helping shape a well-rounded student to experience their academic dreams. All my supporting specialists have similar credentials. Together, we will overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of your aspirations. Employing both your and my experiences, we can build familiarization, proficiency, and accomplishments in weak areas; and expertise, perspicuity, and mastery in areas of strength!

When working individually with students it is first important to establish strengths, goals, needs, timetables, and a plan of action. But even more important is discovering a student’s passions and harnessing them! It is only by addressing the whole student, with all their unique accomplishments as well as foibles, that they will succeed in preparing for and attending college. It’s a matter of understanding where you are, where you are going, and how to get there.
