My expertise also includes copy editing for numerous published literary pieces: Books, Journal Articles, and Dissertations.
My background is quite diverse. I am a former ENG 101 and ENG 201 professor for the University at Buffalo. I am currently tutoring college and middle/high school students in writing and AP English, and young students in ELA.
I also tutor non-native speakers (ESL) in writing and speaking. In this capacity, I provide instruction on pronunciation, word order and verb tense. I assist non-native speakers in improving their communication (conversation) skills and in mastering the American accent.

I have extensive experience editing dissertations, thesis papers, published research articles, grant proposals, and resumes/CV's. My ESL experience is also quite extensive, and many of the clients I have assisted are accomplished professionals.

During my 20+ years of teaching, I have worked with students of all ages. I have assisted students in preparing for New York State exams and TOEFL. As a result, my students have received excellent scores. I provide a creative and interesting approach to teaching and to tutoring. My philosophy is to make learning interesting, not mundane.
