New Tutor - Zachary

Zachary C.

My name is Zachary C. I recently graduated from Clarkson University. I have some experience tutoring and teaching, and have come to love teaching other people whatever subjects I am knowledgeable in. When I was in high school, I was a mentor for middle school kids who were in an after-school activity called LEGO Robotics and I was a one-on-one tutor with a boy with accommodative learning needs. In college I was a teacher's assistant and I worked at my university's writing center. After I graduated, I have been substituting at my local elementary, middle, and high school.

I have also taught outside of a scholastic setting. I am a martial artist with 12 years of experience, and have been aiding with teaching at the martial arts studio I attend since I was 11 years old.
I love seeing my students slowly master the concepts I'm presenting to them, and it is a rewarding experience when a student is able to complete a formerly challenging problem with little to no difficulty because of our time spent on that problem.

B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology.
Kept a 4.0 GPA during my time at my undergraduate institution.
Presented research at a national conference: Eastern Psychological Association.
Internship at Saint Lawrence Psychiatric Center.
